Operating costs include:

The reduction in operating costs for pumping irrigation company NDS in 2003, designed and created a set of pump-based Grundfos multistage centrifugal pumps. - Easy transportation between points work (Special frame design to transport the tractor).

Additional costs are the costs of repair and operation of the internal combustion engine.
After a certain amount of operating hours comes the engine overhaul. And these are high costs!
In the case of pumping with electric motors that cost does not occur. Proper operation and lubrication of the bearings makes this system costless for many years.

The cost of electricity (the price of the purchase invoice) 60kWx24 = 1440kWh
Energy cost 1440x0, 35 = 504zł
As you can see from the calculation of the cost of fuel to electricity is 3:1
Only three times the cost of an energy carrier not counting the cost of engine repair!!
It can be assumed that the watering with pumps with electric motor saves about 800-900zł per day
Pumping for 60 days in a year is a saving of not less than 48 thousand zł. So, after two years you save the from the differenc of cost the cost of pump set itself!

Drainage pumping stations are built on special pumps- UM and UMW.
Application:

Purpose:
UM pumps are designed for pumping clean and slightly contaminated water. The size of particulate matter should not exceed 0,1 discharge connectors diameter, length of fiber contamination - 0.25 of the diameter.
Drainage pumping stations are important in a planned water management. During the year there are periods of varying intensity rainfall. Many farms in the time of irrigation stores water in the tanks. For this purpose, farms use UM pump sets. They are characterized by high efficiency and insensitivity to solids content in the pumped water. Helicoidal impeller guarantees high performance of the pump and high energy efficiency.
